Ernie was an almost-4 year old rescued Greyhound who joined us for a trial period on 17 January 2015, but within 4 days it was clear he was here to stay.
Sadly, he was with us for only 2 weeks before dying of a heart attack. Drug use is so common in the racing industry that I can't help but wonder if that's what caused heart disease in such a fit young dog. RIP Ernie - run free with Wynny.
